Recorded in Copenhagen, August 2023, as a live improvised session with Jasper Baydala (Kool Music), with Nis Bysted on guitar and Rune Kielsgaard on drums. The music of Kool Music lands between meditation and travelling with high speed through the player’s common experiences in music and life gathered by the wooden room they are placed in. Improvisational sounds that feel like real sounds, humans interacting. Looking down at the instrument, but not really looking at it, then glancing up unexpectedly. Why has it stopped playing? The pressure builds and you can’t find peace, or believe in peace, or embrace peace. We are driven off course into chaos and it all goes out the window for a while, until the frenzy is over. Featuring Joanne Robertson on guitar on the song Rawhide Bowls.
